MUST is humbled and honored to share huge news for those living in homelessness in our community. The Bezos Day 1 Families Fund is investing in our mission! An advisory group of leading homelessness experts and advocates selected us and 41 other needle-moving organizations across the country to continue the fight to end #familyhomelessness. MUST is 1 of 8 organizations that received an optimum $5 million grant! Part of this grant will help us to fund our brand-new shelter and resource campus serving homeless families in our community. 2020 was a year full of heartache and grief. But through it all we were able to serve our neighbors like never before. The Home Depot Foundation has selected MUST Ministries as a recipient of one of their $50,000 #OperationSurprise grants! This grant will help MUST to continue our fight against poverty and hunger in our community. The Home Depot Foundation has been an amazing supporter of MUST Ministries and we can't thank them enough. Earlier this year, they provided funds to our Veterans' Program which included a new family apartment. They provided an unforgettable swimming with the shark...s experience for our veterans at the Georgia Aquarium and they honored a veteran in our housing program as a Hometown Hero at a recent Atlanta Falcons game. The Home Depot Foundation has also supported MUST by making a large donation to building our new shelter. Their generosity has allowed MUST to expand our reach of resources to thousands of our neighbors in need.
