So THANKFUL to my guy @sheldonealmond for my friendship that went across the lines of basketball. He was such a great friend and was a great positive impact coaching my daughter. Think of him often and glad to see him and his family doing well.

Happy Birthday to this rising 6th grade basketballer Landon Purcell. Landon has been starring at MVP School of Basketball Camp for quite some time and he’s turning 12 and heading to middle school. HBD!!! 1112

CONGRATS to ALL the East Atlanta Winners, AHS got most positive school again-getting after over there. Special Congrats to a couple of athletes and coaches I personally know that I was proud to see successfully nominated. Coaches Jose Rodriques and Brooke Satterfield are two of the BEST. Great choices!!! Proud to see Dallas Pettus from Prince get recognized such a great young man, that Boys Golf Program is awesome. ... Kayla Lusk who plays anything and everything at MDCHS, PROPS to her and the way she represents!!! So glad to see Braden DeLamater get selected, great representative for Boys Cross Country. Reps his school and his sport so positively. SUPER Proud of Callie Bolemon from LHS, great basketball player and even better person. Hayley Daniels of Madison County who I’ve always been a big fan of, one of the most positive campers I’ve had at MVP camp over the years.

Happy Birthday to Ashley Hill!!! Super hard working basketball player that I’ve had the opportunity to coach and coach against. Such a great representative of the spirit of the sport of basketball and her school. Hope it’s a GREAT one Ashley!!!

THANKFUL for Brian Brodrick organizing a local run for Ahmaud at OVP this morning. It’s very convicting to realize you think your strong because you can take up for yourself but you realize you’re not as strong as God created you to be until you start taking up for others. I can’t speak for everyone but I can speak for myself, I have to speak up and speak out MORE. I need to speak early, often and loud when I see injustice. I owe it to so many friends that I have that I have a lot of LOVE for. They are hurting right now and have been hurting. Starts with being more aware and more outspoken for me personally.
