While covid19 continues to impact our communities we continue to make changes to support our patients. We are now offering telemedicine virtual visits. Did you know many orthopedics issues can be diagnosed using telemedicine virtual visits? Telemedicine virtual visits benefits include: no travel time ; keeping distance from others without reducing quality of care; reviewing of diagnostic tests, and more. Please call our office to inquire if you have a scheduled office appointment or if you would like to make a telemedicine visit call 383-9789. For the safety of our patients and staff, if you are experiencing any symptoms of covid19 within the last 14 days, or have been exposed, we ask you to reschedule your office appointment until your symptoms have resolved or schedule a telemedicine virtual visit. Dear Patients, The safety and well-being of our patients and community members is our highest priority. Southeastern Orthopaedics continues to actively monitor and prepare for the potential spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). To align with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, along with local departments of health recommendations, we ask that patients call SEO before arriving if they meet both of the following:... Have symptoms including fever or upper respiratory infection symptoms (i.e. cough). AND Have recently traveled outside the United States OR have been in potential contact with a person known to have COVID-19. Our clinic staff will assess the patient’s symptoms and exposure history. They will then call the local department of health and determine if testing for COVID-19 is needed. If testing for COVID-19 is not necessary, further instructions for care will be given at that time. If you currently have a fever, or any upper respiratory infections symptoms, please contact our office BEFORE your visit and reschedule your appointment. Please also limit the number of visitors attending to your appointment to no more than 1.
