From the Desk of Dr. Jackson--One of my kindergarten students heard me call one of his classmates "The best student in the world". I also called this student a "superstar". Upon hearing this, another one of my kindergarten students pulled my pants and said "Dr. Jackson, I thought I was your 'superstar' and 'the Best Student in the world?' " I said "you are". Point of the story...Children are likely to live up to what you believe of them.
