Snakes are on the crawl. Be sure to check your yards good when letting the little ones out to play.

Paws & Pals monthly social returns this Saturday at Windsor Park. Bring your dogs and meet your neighbors this Saturday from 10am to 11:30 at the Windsor Dog Park. The WFNA will be on-site with goodies. It's always a lot of fun and it's in an outdoor environment perfect for socializing with your neighbors.

The Windsor Forest Neighborhood Association will join the City of Savannah and others throughout the city and nation this Tuesday, January 19th at 5:30 pm as we remember those who have lost their lives to Covid-19 this past year. This horrific virus is responsible for the deaths of over 375,000 Americans in the nation and over 240 right here in Chatham County. In remembrance for those lives lost here in Chatham County, we will light a luminary for each person to show our resp...ect and love from 'The Forest' to those families hurt the most by this virus and the global pandemic. We ask for those traveling through the intersection of Largo & Windsor between 5:30 to 6:30 to please slow your speeds as you travel through the intersection as a sign of respect for those that have lost their lives and their families that have lost their loved ones. On behalf of the Windsor Forest Neighborhood Association and the 6,500+ residents of 'The Forest' allow us to say to the families of those that have lost loved ones, we offer our deepest sympathy and condolences during this difficult time for you. #WFNA #windsorforestneighborhood #Savannah #windsorforestneighborhoodassociation #WindsorForest #WFNAcares

We have learned of this program offered through the NAACP and are passing it along to our membership. The deadline is just 2 days away but if you are in need and qualify, this may be a source of help. #WFNAcares #WFNA

One of the strategic priorities for the Windsor Forest Neighborhood Association in 2021 is our #KeepWindsorClean Initiative. Throughout 2021, we will be hosting and communicating many events in order to 'Clean the Forest'. In keeping with that goal, we are proud to share this opportunity with our residents being done by the City of Savannah. The City will be on 'The Corner' - January 15th through 17th accepting items for disposal. Be sure to take advantage of this great program and be looking for other ways this year to #KeepWindsorGreen. #WFNA #WINDSORFOREST #windsorforestneighborhoodassociation #wfnacares

This is disappointing to many but in light of the unprecedented task of vaccinating the entire country, we understand there will be some delays. As more information comes out, we will keep you informed. #WFNAcares

Last night in Ardsley Park in the matter of about 1 hour, over 20 cars were broken into. Happened around 5am. Be sure to remove your valuables from your cars to include any weapons you may keep in the car. These thieves move around and they act fast. Let's be vigilant here in Windsor Forest. If you see something, say something. Call the Police on any suspicious activity. Call 9-1-1. Do not call any other number. The 9-1-1 operator can prioritize the call but we need to be watchful for any suspicious activities especially in the evening hours. These opportunity crimes are increasing. Let's work together to #KeepWindsorSafe. If we hear of anything here in Windsor Forest, we'll let you know. #WFNA #windsorforestneighborhoodassociation #WindsorForest #WFNAcares
