Of course not we are humans with both strong personalities. Here’s what we’ve learned through the years. TIP #1 Ask yourself the question do you want to be right or do you want to be understood? What are you trying to communicate? Arguing your point does not mean the other spouse understood what you were trying to communicate during the argument anyway. It only get emotions high and try to force the other person to believe your point is RIGHT! However, the other person may NEVER understand your point. Communication take both partners to listen and understand each other perspectives and then find the place to walk away with the level of understanding that can change the disagreement from the beginning.
