Today’s devotional It’s All About Love Thirty-two years ago, today my son Chandler was born bringing a wave of relief, responsibility, and reverence. Chandler’s birth is near Father’s Day, an opportunity to reflect on double milestones. Reflecting on being a father and a grandfather, I think I finally know the meaning of the sacred roles that I now get to live out, it’s all about love... Being a father is to emulate God’s love. Being a father is to provide a love that is patient, kind and is not easily angered. Being a father is to spread the Gospel to your children not only by teaching them the Word but by living the Word. Happy Birthday son and praise God for the blessing that it’s all about love. Click this link to listen to an audio of this devotional https://www.buzzsprout.com/1779779/8705974

Finding The Gateway To Life Jesus traveled through Galilee teaching in the Jewish synagogues, preaching the Good News about the Kingdom of Heaven wherever he went. Enormous crowds followed him but instead of saying pleasing things to keep the people on his side, Jesus laid out a simple truth. Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate and that the highway to hell is broad. In essence, Jesus was saying for the vast majority of those flocking around to see him Heaven ...is unattainable. However, unattainable does not mean impossible for with God nothing is impossible. Redistricting: The next big political battle in Georgia As controversy swirls over the comprehensive new voting law that drastically alters Georgia’s election system, another battle with equally profound implications looms on the horizon: redistricting. In the coming months, state lawmakers will begin redrawing the lines of Georgia’s legislative and congressional districts, a process that will help determine control of the state government and its policies for at least the ne...xt 10 years. The once-a-decade redistricting process will play out in a particularly charged atmosphere this time, coming on the heels of high-profile presidential and U.S. Senate elections with narrow margins, false claims of voter fraud and court challenges to restrictive new voting laws. Use this link https://bit.ly/3ggUtSI to listen to The Podcast as host Marben Bland talks about redistricting with State House Representative Carolyn Hugley, Janet Grant, Vice-Chair of Fair District Georgia, and Helen Butler Executive Director of The Georgia Coalition for The People’s Agenda.

It’s Time To Thank God In less than 60 days Nehemiah and the people of Israel had completed the monumental task of building the wall. Finally, after years of vulnerability, the city of Jerusalem was safe. After months of lockdowns, masks, and social distancing, the vaccine has given us our lives back. People are gathering again; the months of vulnerability are finally over. The ordeal of Covid 19 is nearing completion. ... Even with the physical completion of the wall, Nehemiah knew that completion could not be accomplished until he and Israel thanked God. So he brought the people together for a teaching of scripture in praise and thanksgiving. As we emerge from the pandemic let us thank God for his deliverance as we rejoice in the victory that he has brought. Yes, It’s Time To Thank God! Join us Wednesday at 7:00 PM ET on Facebook as we study the Word from the Book of Nehemiah. Find us on Facebook by searching nbcdublin. Join us because it’s time to thank God!
