Ty is a Water Resources Engineer with about 18 years professional experience related to surface water hydrology and hydraulic design for mine and other natural resource development across Canada. He has also provided consulting services for surface water infrastructure related to irrigation and water supply projects in Western Canada. NewFields Canada is currently focused on providing consulting services to the mining industry related to tailings management, rock mechanics, geotechnical engineering, independent review and technical due diligence. Congratulations to Rosco Peters for receiving the NewFields Knockout Award! From designing graphics to putting together technical animation for clients, Rosco meets the challenges he is faced with everyday. In March 2020, when COVID hit, he volunteered his time to print N95 masks on the 3D printer to donate to a frontline worker. He is always one of the first to volunteer his time to assist with any project, and is humble in his quick learning and mastery of almost everything he touches.
