This is Jackson- one of our sweetest and most tolerable patients. On December 20th, Jackson suffered extensive burns to approximately 30% of his body after riding 3 miles under the hood of the car. Initially, Jackson saw us daily for bandage changes until he was able to start undergoing skin grafts with a specialist. However, with these type of injuries, there is a high risk of failure and Jackson’s skin grafts failed. His family is amazing and doing everything they can for him but Jackson still has a long road ahead of him with additional treatments.
