On Wednesday, wrapped up day 2 of the Lifesaving Summit, (2nd Annual), in Birmingham, hosted by GoRescue. It is a great networking and learning opportunity for anyone involved with resuscitation or emergency response training or operations. The breakout sessions were widely varied, and the keynote speakers and expert panel shared a ton of valuable information. It matters not if you train AHA, ARC, ASHI, NSC, etc. - there's good info to share with others/learn from... others. It was a pleasant surprise to see awards for AED distributors (Biddle Fire & Life Safety), Instructor of the year (Dennis Agnew), Training Site of the Year (Phillip Daigle), and Founders' Award (CodeOne CPR). Meeting Gary Montague, CEO of HeartHero, and inventor of ELIOT - a prototype AED (Look for it in 2021) was a BIG highlight. Market release of ELIOT will shake the AED industry, and finally provide a true "Home AED". #lifesavingsummit. #powerforward .
