*Poor Education to Affect Ghana’s Human Capital: World Bank* About 56 per cent of Ghana’s human capital will go waste in the next 18 years because of the poor quality of the country’s education system, the latest Human Capital Index (HCI) report by the World Bank has revealed. The report made a stunning revelation that only 44 per cent of children born in the country today will become productive when they grow up.... The HCI, which measures the amount of capital that a child born in the country today can expect to attain by age 18, stated that the poor quality of education would translate into lack of capacity to support sustainable national development. The report, which was made public by the World Bank Ghana Office in Accra yesterday, ranked Ghana 116th out of 157 countries.

PAG Core value #1

Progressive Alliance for Ghana 24.04.2021

People of the Republic of Ghana, it is with humility and determination that we announce the intention of the Progressive Alliance for Ghana (PAG) to contest the 2024 election. We are People Against Graft, an Nkrumaist inspired party, which is in the process of being officially registered for that purpose. Our name says it all, for we are an alliance of progressive forces, united by the desire to include Ghanaians both within the country and those overseas in better governance...Continue reading

Thoughts of Kwame Nkrumah It is courage we lack, not wealth. https://twitter.com/CN_NorthAme/status/1207484664824422400

Thoughts of Kwame Nkrumah The less developed world will not become developed through the goodwill or generosity of the developed powers. It can only become developed through a struggle against external forces which have a vested interest in keeping it undeveloped. https://twitter.com/CN_NorthAme/status/1205958082527997952

Thoughts of Kwame Nkrumah The economics of neo-colonialism is obvious. It gives fake aid to the newly independent country which makes that country virtually dependent economically on the colonial power. Thus, it becomes a client state of the colonial power, serving as the producer of raw material, the price of which is determined by the colonial power. https://twitter.com/CN_NorthAme/status/1204550253535469568

Thoughts of Kwame Nkrumah The evil of balkanization, disunity and succession is that the new balkan states of Africa will not have the independence to shake off the economic shackles which result in Africa being a source of riches to the outside world, while grinding poverty continues at home. https://twitter.com/CN_NorthAme/status/1199461799202037761

Thoughts of Kwame Nkrumah The imperialists of today endeavour to achieve their ends not merely by military means, but by the economic penetration, cultural assimilation, ideological domination, psychological infiltration and promoting assassination and civil strife. https://twitter.com/CN_NorthAme/status/1195156393747189761

Progressive Alliance for Ghana 06.01.2021

Thoughts of Kwame Nkrumah There is not an African state which is secure, or which is free to develop its resources to the full for the benefit of its own people. All are economically weak and all are politically unstable. Unless we unite there can be no progress and the suffering of the African masses will continue. https://twitter.com/CN_NorthAme/status/1194802059654107136

Progressive Alliance for Ghana 17.12.2020

Thoughts of Kwame Nkrumah It is far easier for the proverbial camel to pass through the needle's eye, hump and all, than for an erstwhile colonial administration to give sound and honest counsel of a political nature to its liberated territory. https://twitter.com/CN_NorthAme/status/1192633637935763457

Thoughts of Kwame Nkrumah It is far better to be free to govern or misgovern yourself than to be governed by anybody else https://twitter.com/CN_NorthAme/status/1192245916557815809
