Today was such a BEAUTIFUL day, we decided to take our art project to the patio! We had a great time making popped bubble art, listening to music, and enjoying the sunshine!

Introducing our first STAFF SPOTLIGHT Christina joined the Oaks as Executive Director of the Oaks at Grove Park in January 2019 while the community was still under construction. During her leadership the Oaks has been named the Columbus Ledger Enquirer Reader’s Choice Award as the Best Retirement Community and Best Assisted Living in Columbus. The Oaks was also placed in the prestigious Eden Alternative Registry for Senior Care during this time. Prior to joining the Oaks, C...hristina directed the development efforts throughout Georgia for the Alzheimer’s Association and is credited with beginning the popular Dancing Stars events all across the state, raising millions of dollars for care and research. Christina counseled hundreds of families facing Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia during her 12 years of leadership with the Alzheimer’s Association. Christina and her family made Columbus home in 2002, moving from FL. Christina spent nearly 30 years in high and middle school education teaching and in administration. Christina is a graduate of the University of Florida, has been married to husband Ron for over 40 years, has three grown children all married and 5 grandchildren. See more
