As we lead up to the last Oddbird popup this Wed, Feb 12, at @westeggcafe, we’re revisiting some of your best @oddbirdatl posts. Thanks for this one @irennnnnneqi of our hot chicken + butterlard biscuit! #repost @irennnnnneqi #ThrowBack to my #FriedChickenFeast at @oddbirdatl last night! It was stormy outside, but BOMB inside! @oddbirdatl is a pop-up restaurant which opens on the second Wednesday of every month within @westeggcafe.... The best Nashville Hot Fried Chicken I've ever had so far, even better than that I had in Miami Spicy and crispy from outside and juicy and tasty inside. The spice can last for a long time and goes perfect with the fluffy butterland biscuit! Besides, their #oddbird chicken and waffle is more than awesome The fried chicken is savory with bacon peach and the waffle with jalapeño and cheese inside is one of the best I've had in #atlanta so far! Don't forget to treat yourself with one of their signature pies! I went for the peach and blueberry pie last night since it is the #PeachSeason , and it was super good with all the crust on the top. All good things must come to an end we’ll be at @westeggcafe for a final popup on Wed, Feb 12, 5:30-9pm. Please read on . . . You choose the chicken & waffle special this month! In addition to our hot chicken and regular fried chicken & waffle, we always have a special chicken & waffle, called, simply, The Oddbird. We narrowed it down to 3 contenders and voting takes place over the next couple days now live in our Story! #VOTE... Also, there are so many amazing folks who were and are involved in the making of Oddbird. I’d like to call out the graphic design team @theseason, with additional illustrations by artist Scott J. Dupree. We had so much fun developing our Oddbird characters, like this guy, who earned the nickname Mr. Butterlard. Thank you, @theseason! Help us decide what The Oddbird chicken & waffle special will be for the final Oddbird popup, Wed, Feb 12! It was hard to choose, but we narrowed it down to three favorites now you do the rest. Over the next few days we’ll post each of the 3 finalists here for your consideration and comments then we’ll post a poll in our Story for you to vote! Without further ado . . . Our first contestant, which we don’t think we have offered since June 2018, is a MAC N’ CHEESE-stuffed... waffle, with a peach & bacon BBQ sauce, and our classic fried @smfchicken.
