Odin's Comics

For all my friends and loved ones I've decided that after 30 years in comics I'm taking the summer off. The store number is still active so you can call me, I'm checking it every few days. Level Up Games and Comics and Challengers Games and Comics (run by Tony, who we all know and love) are who everyone needs to see. They are helping everyone who needs book. After the summer is over, the dust is settled, and hopefully things are calmed down I'll be back. I will be at Atlanta Comic Convention (love you Wes) in December for sure. Hello, this is Mark Wright. You might know me from the 3 years of Free Comic Book Days I was a guest of theirs for as an artist. I talked to Lori the other day. The landlord is refusing to renew her lease. She is currently trying to figure out where to put a new store among other options. If I hear anything else, I'll post it here, on this page. ***Update: if anyone wants to put any words of encouragement in the comment section of this post to Lori, I'll make sure she sees th...em. *****UPDATE!!!! Spoke with Lori the other day. She appreciates all the kind words of encouragement y'all have posted here. She said she checks the store phone messages twice a week, and asks that you please leave a detailed message with your name and phone number as she doesn't have caller i.d. on that phone. She really appreciates all the kind words and love from everyone and will keep me informed to post on her behalf since she doesn't really "do the internet" (her words).

Local Georgia Artist, Mark Wright will be back with us this year and has a huge assortment of original art and poster prints for sale. PLUS! We'll have Local Puppeteer and Cartoon Animator, Mark Smith (Prof. Mark). Mark teaches puppeteering and animation at The Art Institute of Atlanta and is bringing his creations with him! This is Mark Smith's first Free Comic Book Day so come out and say hello to him and meet some of his wacky characters!
