This poor Mama had a trauma inducing haircut last night! She had asked for a sassy, inverted bob, and had receive an uneven, heavy flop with too much product! I do not like to talk bad about other stylist or salons, but there was little to no attention to detail! It was almost 2 inches off in the front and the back did not have a clean perimeter! We cleaned up the back, inverted it and added a ton of texture! In the end, happy tears were shed and Shelby has a sassy haircut all ready for her family portraits tonight!! Here’s to Transparency! So first, let’s talk about this beautiful color on my client today! Ugh that beigey color just gives me life!! And it will help to blend those natural sparkles!! But I wanted to talk to you guys about how I edit my photos! Because I do edit almost every single one of my hair pictures! Now, I’m not putting on crazy filters, or changing the color! If you swipe back and forth, you can barely tell which one is edited and which is raw. (The first is the ed...ited btw) but there is minor differences! So you may ask, What’s the point if it’s so similar? In my opinion, it brings it closer to how it looks in real life! And like I said, I’m not changing the color, just upping the detail and sharpening it a bit so you can actually see the dimension, it makes the background a little less obvious and brings the hair out that much more!! I’ve also used Lightroom to edit it when lighting isn’t the best or the photo quality needs some help! I just wanted to keep you all informed and in the loop because you may not know otherwise!
