Dr. Cohen is in the news again - this time commenting on parenting and the importance of recognizing all different kinds of families. "One way to bring more equity in parenting is to stop viewing every family through the lens of a traditional family structure, said Avital Cohen of Peachtree Pediatric Psychology. 'What we really should be doing is assessing someone’s resources and resilience and figuring out what they need from there,' she said."

We are so excited to officially welcome Dr. Asher Lindenbaum to our staff as a licensed psychologist. Dr. Lindenbaum joined us a postdoctoral fellow a year ago and has been a great support to our families. He will continue to offer testing services, as well as teletherapy and parent coaching.
