Meet Lisa! Peachtree Psychology is pleased to introduce Licensed Associate Professional Counselor (LAPC), Lisa Giebelhaus. Lisa has her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University. and has been working at Peachtree Psychology since August of 2019.... Lisa understands the challenges and difficulty in working to transform oneself. Therapy is not easy undertaking, but it has the ability to provide a pathway for progress, fulfillment and meaning. Lisa’s approach is to create a safe, trusting, judgment-free therapeutic environment to bring your struggle into the therapy room real-time. She will work with you to create and shape an outcome that aligns with your life’s values, goals and direction. Lisa holds an interest in existential, humanistic, person-centered, gestalt here and now and mindfulness-based therapy styles. She works with adolescents, adults and couples struggling with anxiety, grief, depression, relationships and stage of life transitions. She holds a keen interest in assisting with women’s issues especially that of domestic and narcissistic abuse. Often when we are breaking down, we are really breaking open. MEET SAMANTHA Samantha is a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and holds a Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. Samantha employs an integrative approach to counseling believing that each person is different in how they view their situations and react to conflicts and struggles. She believes that psychotherapy should be tailored to the unique needs and contexts of the individual, and her intention is to help clients to ...select and work towards their own goals, both in counseling and in their daily lives. The counseling relationship is a personal and important one, and within it, Samantha aims to assist clients in examining thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, and to identify, and build upon personal strengths. Samantha has experience in working with clients experiencing stage of life transitions, stress & emotional distress, depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, behavioral issues, grief & loss, career & work-related issues, personal growth & change, LGBTQQI+ issues, women’s issues and men’s issues.
