This #NationalHuggingDay, we're reminded of the valuable insights on #collaboration, shared on our #podcast by Sherry Nobles Farrugia, the Interim Chief Executi...ve Officer at the Global Centre for Medical Innovation in #Atlanta. . Sherry is an experienced #entrepreneur and until recently was the Chief Operating and Strategy Officer for the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Pediatric Technology Center formed between Georgia Tech and Atlanta Children's Hospital. https://open.spotify.com/episode/3zztnfMKtvtee6yrrHDSfN We learnt from Sherry's experience that there are many #answers to a #problem, but usually one #solution and that's usually found through collaboration. . This is particularly important in #paeds, where #funding is always short, so wasting part of it on reinventing the wheel would be beyond wasteful. . #ChildHealth #childrenshealth #innovation #paediatrics #pediatrics #Healthatech #TechForGood #EvidenceBased

It is also the single largest naming gift to a freestanding pediatric hospital. The Arthur M. Blank Hospital is a transformative $1.5 billion project, which will improve quality of care, patient experience and access to specialized pediatric healthcare for Georgia’s children and families.
