WEEKLY UPDATE (April 6-11) DENTAL OFFICE PLANS FOR OUR DEAR PATIENTS Dear Patients and Families, Happy Spring break for most of you. We wanted to update everyone below with our latest opening date based on recommendations from the American Dental Association. ... CURRENT PRACTICE PROTOCOL: 1. Staff are continuing to work from home to answer phones/chats Monday - Friday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm, after which an emergency line is available for true emergencies such as a completely knocked out (avulsed) tooth. 2. The ADA suggests all dental office remain closed until April 30, 2020. We are taking extra precaution and will be closing our offices until further notice. 3. If we do happen to open sooner, we will email and contact patients that were DUE for appointments first. We are really hoping to be able to open as soon as possible to serve our patients, but we will make the decision based upon what is most responsible in the wake of the current situation. EMERGENCIES 1. We have been handling emergencies strictly utilizing technology to avoid any patient contact in support of social distancing. Here are the steps we have been following: a. Videos/images : We ask that our patients/guardians of patients try to capture videos and/or images of the patient’s situation on cellular devices, and follow this up with a call to the triaging dental assistant/dentist on call b. Facetime/video conference : If further imaging and clarification is needed, we can utilize Facetime/video conferencing to assist the on call dental assistant/dentist in determining next steps. c. To prevent oral conditions from deteriorating: Please practice excellent oral hygiene as most of our patients already do on a regular basis. In conclusion, we are looking forward to getting back to our normal business operation and daily routines as soon as possible. In the meantime, we are still here to support you in any way that we can. Sincerely Dr. Nath, Dr Dhruti, Dr. Mathieson, Dr. Lewis, Dr. Blatt, Dr. Chin and the entire PDO Team

Updated note to patients week of May 5th. We are excited to announce that our office will be doing a soft reopening on May 5, 2020 . To protect our patients and staff, we are asking that everyone remain in their car upon arrival. At that time, you will need to call or text us and check in (only the patient is allowed in the office unless there are special circumstances). We will take your temperature and have you use hand sanitizer. We are asking that all patients wear a ...mask into the office (please furnish your own mask, if possible; supplies are difficult for us to obtain). Restrooms will be closed, except for emergencies. We are practicing social distancing and following the CDC guidelines! Thank you in advance for your understanding and patience during this time of transition as appointment times and availability may be limited due to increased time needed for cleaning/disinfecting. We look forward to seeing all our patients again! Your dental team.

Dear Pediatric Dentistry Family, Like so many of you, we have spent the last several days and weeks learning about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and how it is impacting our world. While there now are documented cases in Georgia , our office is dedicated to understanding how it affects our patients, employees, and doctors, and then making necessary adjustments to our office routine. We have one simple objective that guides us: keeping you, our patients, as well as our employees s...afe. This has been at the center of our conversations every step of the way. With that in mind, we wanted to keep you abreast of our response to the threat of the coronavirus. We take pride in our infection control, and the sterilization and disinfection processes we have always utilized are effective against COVID-19. Aside from our standard infection control protocols, we have ramped up cleaning and disinfection in the common areas of our office and are continuing to offer hand sanitizer at the front entrance. We are closely following the Centers for Disease Control's (CDC) guidelines and recommendations on the steps we can take to help prevent the spread of the virus. We have shared specific instructions with our employees on the importance of washing their hands and staying home if they feel sick. We also ask our patients to help us in containing any potential spread by rescheduling your appointments without penalty if you feel unwell or feverish. We will continue to closely monitor the situation and do all we can to protect our patient family. Sincerely, PDO Team
