Meet Shawn Brady, Service Manager, The Peterbilt Store Delaware. His journey with The Pete Store began in 2013. After serving in the US Army, Shawn used his ...GI bill to attend Universal Technical Institute where he was introduced to a dealer-sponsored PACCAR Engine Class. Once accepted into the dealer-sponsored program, Shawn went to PACCAR Technical Institute (PTI) in Denton, Texas and became a part of the first PTI graduating class. Upon graduation, Shawn began working at The Pete Store as a Service Technician. From here, he was promoted to Lead Engine Tech, to Shop Foreman, to his current position as a Service Manager. "Being able to work my way up through the ranks from changing oil to management is a huge milestone," he says. For Brady, his passion for trucks, tractors, and the outdoors started in his youth and continued into his adult life. When I was looking for a career field, I wanted an industry with job security - with trucks, there is always a demand to keep them on the road." Despite his accomplishments, Shawn’s greatest achievement came in July 2019 when he married his wife. Whether serving our country or serving our truckers, Shawn prioritizes these three values: 1.
