The cold winter months are upon us in most areas of the US. Outdoor pets will need extra love and attention to ensure they are protected from the elements. It i...s important that outdoor cats and dogs have access to a shelter for warmth and to be protected from weather such as snow or rain. Always allow access to fresh water that is not frozen along with food. Some outdoor animals may require extra calories throughout the winter months as pets will expend more energy trying to stay warm in colder environments. Ideally, when the temp drops below 32, bring outdoor pets inside during the overnight hours to ensure they stay happy and healthy. See more
