Plantation Buffet has been remodeled a bit.

Plantation Buffet will re-open tomorrow, May 18th, at 10:30am. There will be some changes. We will be serving you along the line rather than letting you serve yourself. Also, there is a limit to the number of people we can allow in at any time. The meal will continue to be "all you care to eat", and you can either go to the line again, or we will be happy to get you some additional items. We will be serving our normal Monday menu. Hope to see you tomorrow!

Plantation Buffet will reopen May 18th. We welcome you back, we missed you and want you, our employees, others around you and your family when you arrive home to be safe. We have changed our operating procedures temporarily until it is safe to return to normal operating standards. We will not allow customers to serve themselves our servers will prepare your plate for you. You can still return for more or ask your server to assist you from your table if you want more food or... other assistance. We are using one use items such as paper plates, wrapped utensils etc. We've installed no hand touch door openers, soap dispensers, towel dispensers, sanitizer, disposable condiments and have and will sanitize contact surfaces. We also added no touch faucets in bathrooms. We ask you to help by social distancing, washing your hands for 20 seconds and when leaving the restroom use paper towels to open door as you leave. If you have other suggestions we welcome your input. We know things and times are different but with all of us working together, being patient with one another we will get through this. While we have been given the go ahead to open on Monday, April 27th we have made the decision to wait an additional week. Our plans are to open on May 4th. If all goes well we will open then but with the possibility of an altered menu. Please stay safe!

due to changing conditions, Plantation Buffet has had to make the decision to close at 1pm today. This will last until the current Covid-19 crisis is over. We regret having to make this decision. We will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so. Please stay healthy.

To comply with the mandate of Mar 19th by the Athens-Clarke Commission, starting today Plantation Buffet will be open for take out only. At this time, regular menu items will be available.

Starting today Athens-Clarke County mandates that we can't have more than 10 patrons in our restaurant and to maintain a 6 foot safety zone between you and the next person. We are trying to maintain a viable business that provides for you and our employees. Take out orders are available. This is in effect until 5:00am April 7th. We hope we can get through this together and remain healthy. Thank you!

Plantation Buffet is observing the recommendations of the CDC and WHO to help contain the current crisis. Steps we are taking include providing hand sanitizer for your use prior to entering the serving line and providing gloves for you to wear while going through the serving line. We are wiping down the tables and other contact surfaces with sanitizer frequently. We are also providing individual condiments and wrapped eating utensils. We will monitor further actions we can take to make your dining experience safe and enjoyable. Thank you for your continued patronage.
