Babies are a brewing!

Ok! So for anyone who hasn't met Johnny yet! This is my main man Johnyonthespots to be exact all 200+ lbs of him but...anyways. He is in full rut & full of that nice smelly cologne all the girls go crazy for, right! Well, he also NEEDED his feet trimmed. Well, while I was feeding up I decided what the heck by the time I get all fields fed up he will be finished with his dinner & be laying down, I'll go lay across him and trim those feet! Yea! Ok! Good idea right!? Well, I for...got it rained enough to muddy the situation a little. So, I carry on with my plan. Well, of course he sees me coming and gets up! So, I go chase him down & end up laying him down & laying across him......yep you guessed it right in the middle of some soggy wet pee'd & pooped on muddy hay! Lovely! Just lovely! So, heck I was down there then may as well trim those feet! So I trim one side & of course he is laying on the other side so I let him up, go through the chasing process again & lay him on his other side, in the same nasty wet pee'd, pooped on yucky hay! End result.......his feet are trimmed & i smell amazing according to all the girls! See more

This was my Carmella 2 days ago, I swear!

It has been a crazy busy summer! We had a blast with field clean up days with all the kids that participated, built several new areas for the goats, & have begun on our new hay barn! Babies are coming soon....I believe SEPT-DEC we will have babies on the ground.

Please help Fancy & Rayberry welcome little Xaige to the farm today! He will be ready to go this weekend as a bottle baby!
