Provide complete conceptual and final estimating input on complex projects. Participate in proposal presentations to Clients. Prepare quantity take- off and build estimate for DOT projects. Solicit needed subcontractor and vendor pricing Review historical data from cost reports and update unit pricing. Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to back-up estimate figures. Assist other department personnel during preparation of proposals and final evaluation of submitted bids as required. Track awarded contracts as required - may include estimating/pricing extra work items, change orders, credit, procuring materials, etc. Monitor/control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent in conjunction with General Superintendent to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures and performance standards within boundaries of corporate policy. Prepares and monitors all submittals and shop drawings. Performs project buyout in accordance with corporate purchasing procedures. Process and review all changes, requests for information and other applicable correspondence. Prepares change order requests and monitors conversion to contract change orders and/or contract amendments. Performs frequent job costing analysis, cost projections and provides cost reports. Prepares short term look ahead schedule in conjunction with General Superintendent and Superintendent. Monitors project safety and enforcement of safety policies in conjunction with Superintendent. Responsible for operating and managing project(s) in a manner that projects a positive company image. Establish and maintain good communication with Client. Attend and participate in project meetings. Prepares monthly requisitions, tracks same and monitors payments with accounting personnel. Advises Project Executive frequently of project progress and of any concerns or issues. Develop and maintain project files and record documents. Assume additional responsibilities as directed by corporate executives. Job Requirements Educational requirements include: 4-year Civil Engineering, Building Construction, or Construction Management degree required. A minimum of five years of successful experience/knowledge in DOT Estimating and Project Management required. Basic computer skills required. MC2, On screen take-off, Procore, View Point, Microsoft Office 365. We just wrapped up a massive project for GreyStone Power in Paulding County, Georgia. Their new headquarters will provide a more centralized location for its service area, which stretches from southern Bartow County in the north to northern Coweta and Fayette counties in the south. We worked on over 264,500 square feet of new buildings, including a three-story, 99,000-square-foot office building; a 40,500-square-foot operations and engineering building; a 50,000-square-foot warehouse; and a 75,000-square-foot vehicle maintenance and metering shop!

We are excited to be back in Athens, GA working on ‘The Mark’ - Student housing for UGA students! #GoDawgs This project will contain 15,202 sqft of slab on grade with 260 cubic yards of concrete, 34,242 sqft of elevated slab with 2011 cubic yards of concrete, and each pour will be roughly 502 cubic yards. The elevated slab is 18 thick. We’ve got a tight schedule of 66 days to finish the concrete scope!

Located off Lenox Rd this brand new Hyatt will be within steps of Lenox Mall. Here are some stats about this job! 15 Elevated Levels, 132,000 SF of PT reinforced elevated slab area, 92,000 SF formed with truss tables, 71,000 SF TCA Wall, 29,000 SF TCA Columns, Self-performed formwork, and 7,500 CY of concrete! This is a huge project for us and we couldn’t be more excited to complete this on schedule.

Our project Gentry Buckhead Village (aka Rio Bravo) looks amazing along the Buckhead West Village skyline! Recently completed this year, this mixed-used residential building houses one retail level, six parking levels, 13 apartment floors and one amenity level.
