February is American Heart Month and ProCare 'Goes Red' on the First Friday of February each year. Go Red for Women is the American Heart Association's global initiative to end heart disease and stroke in women. This past Friday, GA and FL employees gathered for Go Red to learn about their own potential risks for developing heart disease, how to improve their health, and enjoy heart healthy snacks. ProCare RX is proud to win Gold Recognition for the first time ever in the American Heart Association Workplace health Achievement Index for 2019. ProCare received Silver Recognition in 2017 and 2018, but has since improved upon its wellness program, Healthy By Choice, and achieved Gold status. 'Tis the season of giving! ProCare employees had the opportunity to donate and deliver toys to the Edmondson-Telford Center for children in the foster care system this month. The center collects toys and other gifts for children that are then distributed by DFCS and local police to families that are known to need help during the holidays. ProCare employees participated in Eagle Ranch's Run the Ranch 5K on Saturday, June 1st. The beautiful weather and scenery made for a perfect morning to walk and run! ProCare employees enjoyed the Embrace Race 5K this past weekend benefitting the Edmondson Telford Child Advocacy Center, a children’s advocacy center serving child abuse victims in Hall & Dawson counties.
