Topic of the day is Substrate. We offer 3 types of material (substrate) for signs. The most durable is Aluminum composite which is best for outdoor signs that need to last a decade or more. Next is Rigid Plastic which is nice for indoor signs but can be used outdoors for 5+ years. Lastly we offer high-performance vinyl decals which are made to last indoor or outdoors for 10+ years.

Today’s topic is Thermal Resin print technology. Heat-transfer or thermal resin printing uses wax-resin ribbons that are heated and transferred to vinyl or sign substrate. The process is eco-friendly and produces zero emissions unlike conventional ink prints. Thermal resin prints also out-last traditional ink prints & are weatherproof. CMYK printing process is still used in our prints. Using Cyan, Magenta, Yellow & Black ribbons, we can create any color. Another upside to our print process is super-crisp letters and labels. Barcodes and important labels regularly use thermal resin printing to ensure the most legible numbers and wording.
