Due.to the explosive increase of COVID 19 in Whitfield & Murray Counties it will not be possible for Providence Ministries to host our annual toys for children.... Thousands attend this event & there is no way to do this in a manner that would not potentially be a super spreader of this disease. We deeply regret this as it has been an annual event over 30 years. We will have great Christmas meals in to go plates for pick up in front of the building at 711 S. Ok so here's a little story about the best Thanksgiving dinners ever served.... When my dad was in the Army and about to bee shipped out.... He was in Philadelp...hia and didn't have the money to go get a "NICE" meal at any of the fancy places there... So he went to the Salvation Army for a free meal and he always talked about through his life how good that meal was on a Thanksgiving when he had nothing.... So this Thursday for those in need of a good Thanksgiving dinner here locally... Go see my friends at Providence Ministries Dalton Due to COVID situation the plates are all TO GO this year .... However they will bee prepared with the Love of CHRIST and when you have nothing or just need a good meal... My friends Roy G. Johnson Sr. Patsy Davis-Johnson Simon Pressley Stevie Ray Wesley Noland Brian Croft and everyone at Providence Ministries Dalton would love to supply that meal to you. Remodeling the Chapel at Providence Ministries for the Glory of God. We are open for suggestions for color, lighting, etc. The partitions around the piano and o...rgan will be taken down but the choir area remains, we still love the choir singing as well as worship music. Thinking of widening & extending the stage in a semi-oval with 2 steps around it. Also a lighted cross to replace the picture in baptistry. Looking for ideas~~The organ is a older one, free to anyone. See more
