A new month brings new opportunities. Help us warmly welcome Dr. Kim Smith to the PWHC family! Dr. Smith has practiced in Texas, Arkansas, Quito Ecuador and her second home, Keyna in Africa. While in Africa, she worked in aremote hospital in Kijabe, Kenya. She and her husband remained there for four years. There she would find many young women whose bodies had been damaged from becoming pregnant before their reproductive system was completely developed. She worked tireles...sly to restore these young girls back to health. Having serviced women of all ages in various countries and as a breast cancer survivor, Dr. Smith's global and personal experience is an asset of well being to the Atlanta area. Dr. Smith is also diverse in communication as speaks English and Vietnamese. She has travelled the globe and worked with humanitarian agencies with her husband and children. Help us give a heart felt WELCOME to our newest Nurse Practitioner, Ashlee Forrester. Ashlee Forrester is a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner who brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in both obstetrics and gynecologic care. Ashlee has a passion for prenatal care as well as contraceptive care, family planning, abnormal uterine bleeding, and making her patients feel as comfortable as possible during their annual GYN exam. ... She believes in the importance of empowering her patients to be the best version of themselves. She is a member of the Nurse Practitioner in Women's Health group and the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology. As a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner, she will provide routine gynecologic and prenatal care as well as perform in office procedures such as pap smears, IUDs, and endometrial biopsies. Ashlee is the oldest of six siblings and resides in West Midtown with her husband and two dogs. Outside of the office, she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, boating, and spending time with family and friends. Welcome Ashlee!

Your Provider should be patient with you and not pressure you to undergo a treatment or take a medication you’re not comfortable with.... If these things are not happening - it's disrespectful.
