Probably going back to December 2009, the PRI Trade Show, at that time, convened in Orlando FL. Swallowed by the mammoth convention center was a small booth with a scattering of karting gear and a lonely auto racing suit stretched across a hanger. RaceDay Safety was a fairly new company and we were confused by the lack of color and style available to racers? Helmets were all painted White and stock race suits were always Black, Red or Blue with possibly a little piping or str...iping. The small booth was set up by another fairly new company, K1 Race Gear. K1 knew that breaking into a competitive marketplace required something a little different. The "lonely auto racing suit" was the "Triumph" Racers, particularly the younger ones, really took to the Triumph. Customers would contact us and ask if we could get it in other colors? So, in addition to the Black and White Triumph, we had K1 manufacture a semi-custom line that included Black/Red, Black/Purple and Black/Pink. Throughout the years, the Triumph is undoubtedly the all-time, best selling race suit at RaceDay Safety. Many of you deserve a sincere thank you for making the purchase or purchases. Unfortunately, after 13 years, the reign of the Triumph is coming to an end. No worries if you still like the style or you may need a replacement jacket or pant, there will still be a small inventory or we can get them manufactured for you. As groundbreaking as the style was in 2009, we felt there was a need for a race suit that looked more like 2021, so the Challenger was created. Hope you like it? In the production pipeline is a whole, new semi-custom line based on the Challenger. As always, Pink and Purple, but Laura has Deron at K1 mocking up some new colorways (the Blue looks great!).

Zamp's RZ-70E Switch Series of Helmets now has a new color, Matte Gray. Yes, all sizes, Small through X-Large are In Stock. There are a whole bunch of optional add-ons for this Series, the most popular here at RaceDay has been the 1 Way Radio Cap. This cap allows the RaceCeiver to clip onto the helmet's chin bar.

The smallest race shoe we have ever seen! RaceQuip just came out with a Kid's Size 6. I know the shoe sizing thing is a little confusing...up front is the Kid's 6, in the middle is the Youth Size 1, in the back is the Men's Size 18.
