When Raes Coastal Cafe opened in February, 1992, there were four appetizers, four entrees, two desserts and one salad with no choice of dressing. The restaura...nt has since expanded its repertoire, growing into a beloved destination for people near and far. RAES COASTAL CAFE welcomes diners for lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday, and if you haven’t been before, set your GPS or call ahead for directions. RAES COASTAL CAFE is tucked away in what feels like a beach resort, located at the west end of Walton Way, through a leafy neighborhood leading to a tinned roof shack. Laid back as it is, RAES COASTAL CAFE doesn’t slack on its food or its beverage. And like any good beach shack, it offers up many popular dishes including the Low Country dish, shrimp and grits, as well as a local favorite, Jamaican Jerk Chicken.
