This week, Colas USA and its subsidiaries emphasize our visible commitment to safety through Colas Safety Week! This year, Colas' Safety Week intends to raise awareness about the decisions we can make every day for Serious Injury and Fatality (SIF) Prevention. Colas' Goal Zero program and the implementation of our Life Saving Icons equip our teams with the knowledge and tools they need for proper hazard analysis and assessments. Since we launched our Goal Zero program we have... continually improved our health & safety performance. Serious incidents may be infrequent but the potential to cause serious injury remains. We have been hard at work over at the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport! In March 2021, R.B. Baker started its first soil stabilization project with site work partner and paving customer, Eagle Excavation! The project, Coastal Commerce Center, is located in Savannah, Georgia and, consists of the construction of two warehouses totaling approximately 750,000 SF and the associated truck docks, parking, and onsite roads.
