I was chosen as a #bedsurecozinessofficer and just got my quilt. OMG, so soft! We usually use handmade quilts around here, but this one may have them beat on softness - they use something called 'cationic' dying, which apparently turns cotton into something that feels closer to viscose. It's solid colors on both sides, so it's reversible, and has almost a sashiko style stitch pattern, which is awesome and a nice change from most commercial quilts - their blah styles are one ...of the many reasons I wasn't a quilt person until I married into a quilting family. The weight is great, too - I can't stand a heavy quilt in summer, but I do like a little something even in summer, and I suspect this will do nicely. I've been playing with paper again - my paper succulent shadowbox turned out awesome! Shadowbox is 7" square and 1" deep. Only $20 plus shipping!

New hair bows! The Flamingos are 2.25 inches across and tall (including the neck). The others are approx. 3.5" across and vary in height. The only one that isn't on a french clip barrette is the two layered blue and pink butterfly, which is on a large bobby pin so it can flutter at your temples (it's also super light!). Flamingos are $6 each, or 2 for $10. The others are $8 each. Message me for orders - Facebook and Paypal preferred.

New signs going into the shop - so excited to show some new designs! As always, I can customize, add a name, change the colors, or just make more copies for any sign!

Now that it's on the way, I'm so excited to show off my most recent re-creation of a costume in 18" doll size! This sweet dress was worn by a little girl playing Clara in the Nutcracker, and her parents wanted to give her a copy she can keep forever. Much hand sewing work and reimagining later (and about 5 yards of handmade organza ruffles) it's all done. It's lovely! I love making copies of real outfits in doll size. I had to simplify a touch, since the doll size wouldn't look quite right. I think it turned out marvelous, right down to the pantaloons and the hair clips.
