Tonight was bittersweet as we celebrated our Patty’s retirement after over 15 years of dedicated service. She will be enjoying her days with her granddaughter and crafting up a storm. Knowing her practicality (and with help from her daughters), we gifted her and her husband David with bicycles instead of jewelry It was a beautiful night with laughs and tears all around. For any of you who love Patty as much as we do, please send her your fond and heartfelt wishes. She is already missed immensely at Reilly Dental.

After an extensive and thoughtful search, we are so pleased to have the warm and talented Dr Kristen Gresham join the Reilly Dental family! Take a minute to read her bio, we are certain you will love her as much as we do when you meet her! Dr. Kristen Grisham is a native of Atlanta, Ga having grown up just south of the city. Dr. Grisham attended Kennesaw State University, where she earned her degree in Biology, graduating as a Phi Eta Sigma, Golden Key, and Who’s Who Honor S...ociety member. She was also inducted into the Order of Omega Honor Society. While at Kennesaw, Dr.Grisham was a cheerleader and earned the Owl Athletics Academic Achievement Award and Coach’s Choice Leadership Award. She continued her studies at the Dental College of Georgia in Augusta, where she earned the Omicron Kappa Upsilon national dental honor society Junior and Senior Certificates of Academic Achievement for being the top 12% of her dental class. After dental school graduation, she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) Residency at the Charlie Norwood VA Hospital in Augusta, where she received additional training in comprehensive care, implant placement, third molar extractions, as well as various oral and periodontal surgeries. Dr. Grisham met her husband, Sean, in high school, and they have a beautiful 7 month old daughter together, Madilyn Kate. They frequently spend Saturday mornings on trail walks with their two dogs and enjoying time with family. Dr. Grisham has been especially impacted by dental mission trips with Medical Campus Outreach to Haiti. Dr.Grisham and her husband served together on several trips. This experience culminated in the opportunity for Dr. Grisham to co-lead the trip as a senior dental student, and she hopes to return as an attending provider as soon as travel allows! Dr. Grisham is a member of the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the American Dental Political Action Committee, and the American Association for Women Dentists. Dr. Grisham is very excited to join the Reilly team! She enjoys all aspects of restorative and family dentistry, with a focus on providing genuine and gentle dental care while getting to know her patients. She looks forward to meeting you in the office. See more

Everyone please give a warm shout out to Reilly Dental’s first Centenarian, Martharene! She has been with us as a patient almost from day one. She doesn’t miss a cleaning or check up and we can all only hope that we will have our teeth at 100 years young! * A funny side note is that her insurance benefits only allows fluoride treatment up to age 99. We decided she had most definitely earned it at this point and will provide it at no charge for her as long as she lets us continue to be her dentists

On Monday April 20th, Governor Kemp announced that many businesses in Georgia including dental offices may reopen today, 4/27 for business. Under this Executive Order, the ADA and Georgia Board of Dentistry requires dentists to follow the CDC guidelines regarding Covid-19 which currently still recommends postponing elective and non-urgent dental visits as well as increased PPE for all clinical staff. With this in mind, we feel that it is not in the best interest of public hea...lth and safety to reopen our practice for non- essential treatment at this time. As eager as we are to reopen our doors and serve our patients once again, we could not in good conscience do so at this time without installing new equipment and obtaining proper PPE which we are currently working on. Our entire staff will return to the office on May 4th to continue seeing emergencies and to prepare the office for reopening in a way that is both safe and responsible. The current plan is to phase reopening with new protocols in place beginning May 18th and as always our doctors are available to patients through our emergency line to reach them directly. Finally, we wanted to thank our many thoughtful patients who have sent emails of encouragement and donations for our staff. We are blessed beyond measure to have served this community for 22 years and truly can't wait to see you all once again. Please stay healthy and safe everyone. Sincerely, Drs Tom and Susan Reilly

To Our Patients and the Community: To help reduce the spread of COVID-19 in our community, our office will be suspending nonessential or non-urgent dental care for the next 21 days in compliance with recommendations from the American Dental Association. We are doing our part to slow the spread of this highly contagious disease. We will continue to be available as needed for emergency care via phone and online services. Updates will be posted on our Facebook page as they arise. Thank you and stay safe and healthy. Drs Tom & Susan Reilly

As communities around the world are struggling with Coronavirus (COVID-19), we wanted to reassure you that the health and safety of our patients, employees and their families is our first priority. We at Reilly Dental always follow strict hygiene protocols recommended by OSHA. We have reinforced these in line with the latest World Health Organization guidelines and the Center for Disease Control. As part of our usual policy, we will not allow staff that show signs of a pot...entially communicable condition to work. We ask that you please understand the inconvenience, should we need to change your appointment. Alternatively, if you are feeling ill, or have any pre-existing conditions or area immunocompromised please cancel your appointment. If you arrive for your appointment and show signs of a cold or flu, under the current concerns, we will unfortunately have to reschedule your appointment to a later date. Again, we ask that you please understand if we need to inconvenience you in this manner. The CDC has established that individuals diagnosed with COVID-19 have had mild to severe respiratory related illness, which may include: - Fever - Coughing - Shortness of Breath - Runny nose - Headache - Sore throat - A general feeling of being unwell If you have recently traveled outside of the U.S., have recently taken a cruise, or visited areas within the country known to have a higher number of Coronavirus cases, we ask that you wait at least 14 days before booking an appointment. This courtesy helps us to keep our environment healthy for all our patients and staff. We are closely monitoring the situation to make sure we are taking all precautions to protect our patients and colleagues alike. Our practice will remain open for care as we feel it is important that emergency patients not need to seek treatment at already overburdened urgent care centers and hospitals. If the state or CDC recommends closure of dental offices, we will of course do so. Stay safe and well, Drs Tom & Susan Reilly

Wonderful night with our staff at Cirque de Soleil for the Reilly Dental Christmas party last night. One member was missing though with her Christmas gift arriving early. Congratulations Julia and Jordan on the arrival of their beautiful, healthy boy Hunter!

Ben asked Dr Tom for a DOUBLE fist bump after his extraction appointment because he couldn’t believe it was that easy. If only all of us could be this awesome at 90 years young!

21 years ago today we signed on the dotted line to own our very own dental practice just weeks after Dr Susan graduated, I finished my residency, oh and we got married too. The success of our practice and my love of our chosen profession has far surpassed any of the dreams I had for myself as a child dreaming of being a dentist some day and I could not be more thankful. Here’s to leaps of faith, taking risks in life, fantastic patients, loyal team members, and great business... partners. Happy 21st Birthday Reilly Dental! Dr T

Travelled 1/2 way around the world to meet up with one of our patients who has been with Tj and I from the very first month we were in practice over 20 years ago What a special last full day in Bangkok with King Tantivekjul as our host and tour guide! We are especially grateful for his faithful loyalty to us as his dentists all these years considering the abundance of dentists here in Thailand at prices that are a fraction of what US dentists charge We say it all the time but we truly have been blessed in our careers with LITERALLY the best patients in the world!
