_ #HumbleBeginnings The saying that stuff do not happen over night is so true. I been putting in work since 2007 and I stuck with it. This self portrait of myself was the first picture I took when I became interested in photography. Look at this lighting, editing and camera position.... lol. All so bad but it was popping back in the day. I even call myself designing my own graduation invitation. _ A lot of times we lose focus on what truly matters. It is easy to get caught up in worldly possessions and society standard of what cool is or what they define success is. I know at times we can find ourselves focusing and worrying about the wrong things or trying to impress the ones that dont matter because if you look at it from a different perspective the ones that matter don't mind and understand "The Process". By the process I mean, that stage we are in RIGHT NOW with ...pursing our dreams and purpose here on earth. Its def beauty in the journey. The ups and downs help build character for sure and how we handle situations when we are down and at our rocks bottom will determine if we are ready for the "next stage". God def won't put more on us that we can bare so if he feels that we are not ready for the "next stage" then it won't happen because it's all about perfect timing and being mentally,spiritually, emotionally, and physically ready. We just have to continue to pray, believe and put in the work. Things could be worse so "Realize how blessed you are." -Rious See more
