River's Station College Park

Good morning Everyone! Thank you everyone who helped with the cleanup project! Thanks Chrystal Ford for spearheading that effort! Everyone we now have new builders in the neighborhood! Express homes has purchased the remaining lots from the previous builders. They are in the DR Horton family of builders. DR Horton is one the nation's biggest builders. They are currently working on the townhome side and one car garage homes. It is to my understanding they will continue to build. The next phase from my understanding will be the side closer to Wayfield. With each home we get a little piece of our equity back as it continues to bring our property value back to its original value. The gentleman with express homes did tell me that they only had 3 more homes to sell with the one car garage before they will re-evaluate and start a new phase.

Some good news Today, I spoke with a representative from Wilson Parker homes they are process of building 85 new homes. 20 new town homes, 25 large homes with basements, and 40 homes with single car garages. This boost well for everyone's property value! Are past builder Atreus Homes is no longer in business and doesn't show any sign up coming back. ;-( ... However, they are only building these homes on the townhouse side, close to the front, and the back of the sub-division. They currently do not own and don't know who owns all the vacant lots closer to the shopping plaza. Moreover, this shows us that our subdivision has a split in ownership. I have reached out to the home owner association to see who own the vacant lots and to see if they have plans to continue to build. Also, we should really get involved to see how will our HOA board be govern with two different owners. Here is a map of what Wilson Parker Homes is doing.

Happy Humpday River Station, As you all existing residents can see we are having a lot of new construction to the community and the homes are selling quickly so we are getting new neighbors. If you have not done so please take the time to go meet some of your new neighbors, we want to welcome these new people into our neighborhood and Community. REMEMBER if we know our neighbors, we can have a safer and more friendly community and we can continue to band together for causes ...and purposes to make our neighborhood safer and better. I hope you are having a great summer. Maybe we should be looking into having some form of Summer cookout or Community clean-up let's think about it and see who would like to spearhead it.. Hello everyone. Clayton County Code enforcement has advised that they are working on our cases and it has moved to phase two. Refuse will be removing the trash soon but no certain date. The case is now in court. For those that may not know, if trash is illegally dumped anywhere and a name or address is found, that person is charged for EVERYTHING. It's not worth paying fines and going to court... We are taking our community back!!!!!

Hello River Stations! I someone has contacted the Clayton County Code Enforcement regarding trash and furniture being dumped on the property. Hopefully they will be able to help us. A few years ago we had a community clean up with many neighbors in River's Station but I'm not sure if any of those folks live here anymore.
