Hocus Pocus, but make them spicy ;) I guess the Sanderson Sisters drank that potion of youth after all.

This is just a friendly reminder not to sell yourself short of confidence. I intentionally don't give a lot of direction for these before shots. I want to see how comfortable you feel before I start the coaching. I want you, just as you are. Uncomfy smiles, fresh faced, sweatpants and all. Because this is real. This is 90% of us every day. And that's okay mama. Life is busy and chaotic and we are all just doing our best. But I have to say my absolute favorite part of everyo...ne's shoot is well after hair and make up, it's about 15-20 minutes into photos. When I show you the back of my camera and your face lights up like fucking New Years Eve, and all the sudden this confidence comes roaring out from inside you. You start to see yourself in a way you couldn't grasp before. And every time one of you walks out my door I steal a second to wish that you hold on to feeling that every single day. See more

Ya'll don't even know the level of hype I felt when the sunset bounced off my mirror and created a spotlight on the bed.

I'm not sure if I'm loving my natural sunlight or my blacklights more lately!

I remember as a kid, and well into my twenties, that at any give point I simply faded into the background. The lights could go out, and I could slip away into darkness undetected. Friends and family wouldn't notice, because my presence was never loud enough. It took years for me to figure out that the reason everyone else seemed so bright around me wasn't because I couldn't shine, but because I choose to keep my own lights off. I never want you to feel like you don't don't glow brighter than New York City when you walk into a room. Like you aren't the biggest, baddest, neon bar sign in this dimly lit, sketchy af alley we call life. Chin up buttercups, because you are fucking art. Miss Kim rocked this shot
