I am pleased to announce that my firm, along with a talented team of attorneys from other firms, were successful in obtaining a 3.6 million dollar verdict against CR Bard and Bard Peripheral Vascular. My client was severely injured by a Bard G2 filter when the filter failed in a multitude of ways, including breaking apart into several pieces. One of the pieces traveled to her heart requiring open heart surgery for removal. Another piece remains in her inferior vena cava wa...ll as surgeons were unable to remove it. This case was the first case tried in the multi-district litigation pending in the federal district court of Arizona (home to Bard Peripheral Vascular). There are over 3,000 cases filed in this multi-district litigation, and it is not too late to file a case if you have been injured by a Bard filter. If you currently have a Bard filter implanted I urge you to undergo imaging studies to determine whether your filter has tilted, migrated, perforated any structures in your body or fractured. It is common to have these filter failures without experiencing any symptoms. If you would like to discuss a potential case with me please call 678 273-3969. https://www.drugwatch.com//3-6-million-awarded-first-bard/ See more

I am pleased to announce that the trial team, of which I was a part, was successful in obtaining a verdict, including punitive damages, against CR Bard and Bard PFV arising out of its alleged defective IVC filter. This trial was the first in the nation for the thousands of cases currently pending in the multi-district litigation in the federal district court in Arizona. My client, Ms. Booker, was injured when her Bard G2 filter malfunctioned in a multitude of ways, including ...fracturing into pieces. The filter and its pieces penetrated several structures in Ms Booker’s body, including her aorta and her heart. She underwent open heart surgery for removal of the piece from her heart and she continues to have one piece in her inferior vena cava wall, which piece the physicians were not able to remove. Our firm is accepting additional IVC filter cases at this time. If you currently have an IVC filter, even if you have not experienced any symptoms, you should undergo a CT scan or other imaging to ascertain whether your filter has tilted, migrated, penetrated any structures or fractured. TAXOTERE and PERMANENT HAIR LOSS Robin Lourie Law PC is now investigating cases of permanent hair loss occurring after the use of Taxotere, a chemotherapy drug used frequently in the treatment of breast cancer. Typically hair grows back 3-6 months after ending chemotherapy treatment. Taxotere has been linked to permanent hair loss, known as alopecia. It is believed that the manufacturer of this drug, Sanofi Aventis, had knowledge of the alopecia risk and failed to give warning to consumers until forced to do so by the FDA in 2015. If you have suffered permanent hair loss after using Taxotere contact Robin Lourie for a free case evaluation. [email protected] 404-760-4916
