Good afternoon, Roswell! As of this morning, it appears all traffic signals are working, and all roads are passable! City crews have been checking roads all day... and will stay on-call to respond to any situations that arise. If you are aware of signals out or roads still blocked, please call the Police non-emergency line at 770-640-4160. (In an emergency situation, please call 911.) Please continue to drive with awareness and patience. Although signals are working, Zeta’s strong winds may have turned some detection equipment, and there’s the possibility of that causing longer wait times at some intersections. We are trying to address these issues as they filter in, and we will correct them as soon as possible. Also please be aware that crews will be continuing to pick up debris on sidewalks and on the sides of roads over the next several weeks. This process will take some time. Your continued patience is greatly appreciated!

Good news this morning: All lights are functioning in Roswell! Great thanks to the crews that have been working tirelessly over the past several days to get the...m up and running again! We still have a couple of road closures: * Mimosa Blvd near Oxbo. There is still a tree down near Roswell First Baptist Church, 710 Mimosa Blvd. * Hightower Rd between Northpoint and Ashurst is still closed. With regard to trees that are on sidewalks, off to the side of the road, etc., Public Works crews are working very hard to get all of that removed. As of yesterday (10/31) they still had more than 80 trees to remove, so it is going to take some time. Thank you for your patience!

What a day! This was a difficult storm for everyone, and damage is spread across the City. It will take some time to finish all the clean-up, but we are gratefu...l to our residents and our City staff for coming together to respond in force to all that Zeta threw at us! This was a proud day for #TeamRoswell. From the detailed and timely reports from our community members and stories of neighbors coming to each other’s aid; to the 911 Dispatchers who stayed way passed their regular shifts to continue responding to emergencies; to the many Police, Fire, and other staff who brought their own chainsaws in from home to help support clean-up of downed trees around the City; and to the interdepartmental teams from Transportation, Environmental/Public Works, and Recreation & Parks that joined forces to expedite response we are grateful for you all! Updates on City facilities and programs, as well as other Zeta-related response information is available at www.roswellgov.com/weather.
