RTF is committed to improving the environment! We really hate to see big trees go, but sometimes it's necessary when they're in the way of a building site, imposing danger to a home, or simply for the beautification of property. We use several methods to recycle or reuse wood. 1. Small trees and underbrush are cleared using a Forestry Mulcher. The resulting organic mulch slowly decomposes and reintroduces nutrients into the soil. 2. Tree debris and stumps are hauled to a st...ate of the art compost facility. From there, it's turned into organic compost, topsoil, and coarse mulch that's available for purchase by the public. 3. Trees that meet qualification standards are transported to mills to be converted into pulp for use in paper products or milled into lumber.
