Smiles all around at Rutledge Hardware!!

Our condolences to the family and prayers for healing of our friend and local Folk artist Eugene Swain’s wife. We were saddened to hear that Eugene was killed in a MVA in Morgan County Georgia along with the unidentified driver of the pu truck that T boned them, causing the firey crash. Eugene’s wife survived the accident, but is fighting for her life in intensive care. Eugene will always have a special place in our hearts as a fellow crafts person and artist here in Morgan County. His painting of Paul and the Hardware store (that I commissioned him to paint as a gift for Paul back in 1999) is one of our most prized possessions. What a loss to this county and the world and all who knew him of such a kind, humble and talented man. God rest your soul Eugene Swain.

Rutledge Craft Fair today! Largest crowd ever!! Thank you Jen Buzbee and all who worked so hard to make this fair such a great event!! Our hats off to you as we know just how much work you have to put into a fair, to have this kind of success!
