Saint Mary’s Art Camp this week has been all about creating books! Campers of all ages have been working hard on all kinds of bound books. It’s great to be in the art room again! Another session of Art Camp begins next week, June 21-25, with an emphasis on Oceans, Rivers and Lakes.

Fourteen Saint Mary’s middle schoolers were inducted into Junior Beta Club today in a Zoom ceremony that parents were able to watch online. Junior Beta Club is a national organization founded in 1934 to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, service and leadership. The daisy is the official flower of the Junior Beta Club, and the motto is Let us lead by serving others. We are proud of all of our student leaders at Saint Mary’s!

A warm, sunny day makes it extra exciting to see the sod going down on the Saint Mary’s field! Stay tuned for the finished product... we will be running and playing very soon!

Be sure to drive by the Town Green across from the Forum to see the beautiful banners celebrating heart health in the month of February. Saint Mary’s School has four banners on display- see if you can pick them out! All of the banners, including the ones our students made, will eventually be auctioned off in an online auction to benefit heart health. Grandparent’s Day parade!

Today we celebrated Decades Day at Saint Mary’s School, in addition to observing the 100th Day of School and Student Appreciation Day. Here is just a sampling of the many decades represented by our students and teachers, all the way back to prehistoric times, the Roman Empire, the Wild West and the 1970’s. We learned a lot about history and had big fun, too, with pizza lunch from the PTO, Middle School Bingo (complete with prizes), and a presentation of projects made with 100 items in honor of the 100th day.
