Pet Peeps I’ve always been very honest with each of you and I will continue to be. Many of you may not know Melissa has an insane amount of love for ALL breathing animals. She’s a true Ellie Mae that being said when the opportunity came about to buy Salty Pets she jumped at the chance to change her life by being a business owner.NO ONE could’ve predicted that the same week the purchase agreement was made that the government would order a shelter in place for the entire USA.... Melissa has maintained the business due to the struggles of Covid-19. We’ve both got creative with, delivery options, bathing, and grooming. NONE of that was in the plans for a pet supply store. BUT Melissa doesn’t give up easily. She’s definitely determined. As we continue to face challenges with our supply venders and product sources it seems because we are on a small scale there are harder restrictions for deliveries. As most of you know we haven’t had a full order in a while. As we continue to work towards making Salty Pets the successful business we know it can be Melissa has made the decision to be open for grooming on Wednesday by appointment ONLY. The store WILL NOT be open. The door will be locked during grooms to ensure the safety of your pets. ANY nail dremels will be done on SATURDAY. We know inconsistency causes lots of issues for valued customers. We promise as soon as possible Salty Pets will be back up and stocked with ALL your pet supply needs. Pet Peeps. We apologize for the shop being closed. Melissa had a pretty bad fall this morning on the way to the car. She’s at home resting now after a quick check by Union General’s ER. She’s ok just extremely bruised and busted up. The shop will reopen at 10am Wednesday for normal business. Have a fantastic weekend. Be safe out there. Apparently walking is difficult sometimes.
