Our summer MyOn challenge began on May 29th. This summer our Patriots will have the opportunity for summer reading using the online platform, MyOn. We will have weekly challenges for top usage and one student will receive a special prize for the highest overall usage. Students who reach 10,20, or 30 hours of reading by the end of the summer (July 30th) will earn special treats at the beginning of the 21-22 school year. Students will log into Clever (students have used this program this school year) click on MyOn, and read, read, read. We can’t wait to see how many books and hours our patriots read this summer.

Our first FCA huddle will be tomorrow, January 22. The huddle will begin at 2:30pm. All students that have registered will need to be picked up at the front of the school no later than 3:10pm or will be sent to our afterschool care where parents will be charged a fee. Our school sponsor has placed car rider signs in teacher mailboxes for your students to bring home today. You will need this car rider sign when picking your student up from FCA. Mrs. Parham had a great time dancing with Mrs. Ashlyn Bennett and Mrs. Sonja Mc Neil’s Happy Camper Kindergarten Class today during our Boosterthon Dance Party! Thank you to everyone who made this fundraiser possible!

Mrs. Parham knows how to kick off the week before Christmas for staff...this morning after our zoom meeting she told staff that she had hidden two gift cards around our campus. Within minutes Mrs. Terrell had found the first one. Mrs. Todd found hers while taking a stroll outside. It was so much fun seeing all of the staff in their pajamas running around giggling just like kids. Thank you Mrs. Parham for letting us have a little fun this morning. It did our hearts good. We are missing our Patriots. It is too quiet.
