The last week in May of 1974, The Sandman was started with one old used truck purchased for $600.00.( A rolling piece of junk.) It required work every night, to run the next day. In the beginning my Mother answered the phones because there was NO money to pay anyone. Some of this area's best home builders started purchasing materials from us. Forty six years later, we are working for the children and Grandchildren of many of those same builders. As the years rolled on we wer...e blessed with some of the best employees, that worked long hard hours, six days a week. Back then we didn't all carry a camera in our pocket , so we don't have many pictures. We have gone through many very tough times, changing times, and wonderful memories.
