Today, our 5th graders visited P.A.C.K. (People of Action Caring for Kids) to help assemble weekend food bags for students in Savannah. P.A.C.K. delivers 10,000 bags of food each month to children in 37 local schools and community centers. The SCPS cross country team recently donated 680 pairs of socks and underwear to the Fostering Bulloch Hope Chest. The donation was made at the region meet on Tuesday where the girls' became region champs and boys took region runner up. #itsagreatdaytobearaider

Drum Major - Superior; Color Guard - Superior; Percussion Pit - Superior; Percussion Field - Superior; Band - Excellent; Overall - Excellent; Best in Class for Drum Major, Color Guard, Percussion, Band; 1st Place Silver Division - Drum Major; 2nd Place Silver Division - Color Guard, Pit Percussion, Field Percussion, Band. Kindergarten classes learned all about how trees are used in the paper-making process! From breaking down tissue to separating and soaking up excess water using a screen, students experienced the entire paper-making process. Today was the 50th day of school! To celebrate, students in Lower School put on their best fifties apparel and had fun with activities like hula hooping, sock-hopping, and drinking coke floats! #itsagreatdaytobearaider
