One of the many jewels of the Libraries' Special Collections departments is our editions of Visionaire. The 68th edition of Visionaire features 10 protest posters by activist artists and Visionaire has released an open source edition of all 10 posters (see photos). SCAD librarian Katy Parker had to hand carve archival styrofoam to create three special boxes for Visionaire 66: Ritual, a set of scented sculptural candles. The candle featured here was created by Bruce Weber to look like model Trevor Signorino, and scented by master perfumer Carlos Benaim. He smells like a hot summer day on the Jersey Shore, where Trevor works selling ice cream.
