To all our customers and followers. Just a reminder that today is the beginning of a new quarter. As we enter the dog days of summer season take the time to do a quick check around your Air handlers, furnaces, and AC units. Make sure you check your indoor air filters and ensure no water is collecting around your indoor units. You should never see water in the emergency overflow pans. A cup of bleach every quarter goes a long ways in keeping grime from building up in your dra...in lines. If water is present in your emergency pans you likely have a clogged primary drain or cracked/ stopped up evaporator coil drain pan or connector or worse. Give us a call asap if water is ever present around your indoor units. We hope that you all have a healthy and comfortable summer season and have the peace of mind that Scotty's Heating and A/C is here to help should a problem arise or your equipment requires servicing. While Covid 19 has its effect on our community and nation we at Scottys are remaing vigilant to practice all the safeguards possible to limit any exposure to our employees and customers while being as available as possible to our customer group. Just to keep our customers informed here is a few things to keep in mind should you need our services during these trying times - As an essential service under guidance by the CISA and our governor, Yes, we are still open and fully op...erational while following all necessary protection protocols. -All Scottys personnel have been provided the proper PPE to protect them and you while entering your home and repairing your HVAC systems -Signatures will not be required for repairs or payments during the outbreak. We dont want to endanger anyone on either side. A verbal approval is fine. You can follow the link on your emailed invoice to pay online on your own device either at the time of service or once received. -Please dont think us rude if when we greet you at your door we retain our 6' recommended distance and dont extend a hand shake. -If we must enter your home due to the HVAC issue please help us observe social distancing to the best of our ability. -You may be asked by our techs for assistance in adjusting your thermostat while troubleshooting to minimize contact -If filter replacements are required during our visit for your HVAC repair it would be helpful for you to provide a tall kitchen size trashbag so we can properly contain and dispose of any used filters -In trying to conform to whats essential and whats not we have decided to push standard spring check ups back to mid- late April. If you are already set up on our schedule for this service we will honor the set appointment. All others that call in will be given an appointment date after April 16th. - However, If you try and turn your equipment on and its not operating properly do not hesitate to call for diagnostic and repair as soon as possible. -We continue to provide weekend emergency service as normal. Dont forget to leave a message on weekends or after hours so that the on duty tech can respond to you as soon as possible. "Anytime number" 770-480-7436 -As this situation may progress and create greater hardship for all involved we do offer financing options for system replacements and 30 days to pay if needed. In house financing at this time of year, just coming off our slower winter months, is extremely limited to case by case. -Together we will all get through this difficult time. We take time daily to pray not only for the protection of our commited team but also the health of our awesome customers. - Stay safe and healthy out there!!! Tim Scott

It may not seem like it today but spring truly is just around the corner. We are busy getting some of our customers prepared for the next season. If your ac unit was not working at the end of the summer season go ahead and give us a call to preemptive on getting your system ready to go. We generally begin spring check outs once the daytime temps get into the 70's to ensure you get what your paying for on our service checks to the freon pressures and temps. Year long we are bu...sy upgrading outdated equipment getting you a huge savings on energy consumption. If your ready to cut your power consumption 24-45% give us a call for a free estimate on systems 12-15 years old that may be giving you issues. Preventitive action on your part can save you big $$$$ over a summer season. Thanks to all our loyal customers new and old. We simply would not be succesful without you. See more
