The good news is somethimes it really is just like riding a bike. This giant sewing machine is called a longarm and I finish other people's quilt tops with this beast. It's the focal point of my studio/living room.

Slowly but surely restoring this quilt to its former glory. This is one that fortunately the maker had also made curtains to match so I had something to patch the squares that had disintegrated. I am lint rolling the back and binding the edge after I create a label that honors all of the makers. My suggestion to the owners is that it is not used but displayed proudly and folded and refolded every few months to keep the wear and tear on any one particular area to a minimum.

This is a 100 wishes quilt I made for a couple who adopted a son from Africa. All of their friends sent them a piece of fabric that meant something about their friendship and the wish they wanted to extend to their new son.

New project! Repairing 2 old quilts fora client. One of my favorite things to do is fix old quilts for the next generation. Once I am done I will make a label and record the history of the maker and the women whose dresses are represented in the top quilt. The one below is a T-shirt quilt that has traveled the world!

I am recreating the wheel when it comes to teaching. This is a quilt that a friend made all from me sending her links to how-to and talking her through it on the phone. So the next step is figuring out how to do it on Zoom or some other format.

Quilting my label on one of my blankets. The difference between a blanket and a quilt is a blanket can be one layer of fabric or two but a quilt is three layers with stitching of the three layers so they don't poof up

This is a small blanket that I make not a traditional quilt as it is only two layers and these are flannel and for babies. They are 32 x40. I have three for girls and will have three for boys. I will post the first one finished tomorrow with the price.
