Join us for our first Wednesday Wonder Day! We will be creating a fun craft that celebrates our spider visitors that do such an important job in the garden! Add to your seasonal decorations by creating your very own spider web. This activity is great for developing motor skills while we learn how helpful these arachnids can be to our outdoor spaces. This will take place on October 28th from 10 AM to 11:30 AM. Cost is $18 for parent/caregiver plus one child. Price includes admission.
We answered the call! Or hoot! Smith-Gilbert Gardens has everything you need to explore the great outdoors with our new educational Nature in Action kits! Each kit is $25 with everything pictured below and more. Ask us how to get your own or stop by our gift shop today!

We started at 5 and it is now 7pm. A successful banding event. Julia caught a total of 14 birds, 7 females, 6 males, and 1 unknown. Grateful to Bird Watcher Supply Company, Julia Elliott, Karen Hudson Theodorou and Kayla Deis. The only thing that would have made it better would be if you all could have been here. Wings crossed for next year
Look how small the band itself is! Wow!!!
