OMG! What a crazy week for all of us at Shokitini... This COVID-19 is hitting close to home than anyone has expected. Thank you all for your kind words and concerns over the past week! Thank you for those of you who came to celebrate (not sure if it is the right term but for the lack of anything else at this crazy time) our reopening! As I promised to our friends and customers who contacted me last week, here is the update. Over 90% of our staff tested negative. Only one pers...on had a mild flu like symptoms and it is all gone (as a precaution, that person decided to stay home for another week). The other two employees were asymptomatic the whole time. They have been self-quarantined while we were closed. As most of you know, our entire staff practices wearing masks, sanitizing and washing hands diligently. If you came into Shokitini around 6/287/3, you shouldn't be worried about it as long as you didn't develop any symptoms by now. Otherwise, please get tested at a near by clinic for the safety of people around you. We sincerely apologize about this incidence... Lastly, here are my family getting ready to go out to public! We wish all of you the very best health and we would love to see you but please only come when you feel OK to do so! And if you do see our staff members, please praise them for supporting and caring for Shokitini throughout this historic pandemic time.
